Scheduled:
Sunday 6/29- walk or rest

Monday 6/30- walk at work, cross or strength

Tuesday 7/1- walk at work, run, squat challenge: 6x1

Wednesday 7/2- walk at work, cross or strength, squat challenge: 10x1

Thursday 7/3- walk at work, run, squat challenge: 6x2

Friday 7/4- cross or strength

Saturday 7/5- 3 miles, squat challenge: 5x2

Actual:
I had to reschedule my scheduled run on Tuesday to Wednesday. It was great to not just skip it and make an excuse or two as to why I didn't do it. Instead I made a plan and followed through. Even better is that I averaged a pace that is faster for me. I felt great afterwards and was so glad that I decided to reschedule instead of skipping it altogether.

But I did skip my run on Thursday. My right knee was bothering me due to the squats and push I gave myself on Wednesday's run. I was going to reschedule for Friday, but decided against it when it was still hurting. I made the decision to not do it and I am not mentally beating myself over it. I would rather not risk another injury right now.

Sunday 6/29- rest

Monday 6/30- walk at work: 2.04 miles, 1.34 miles, strength: Jackie Warner upper body

Tuesday 7/1- walk at work: 2.04 miles, 1.34 miles, squat challenge: 6x1

Wednesday 7/2- walk at work: 2.04 miles, strength: Jackie Warner upper body, squat challenge: 10x1, run: 3.24 miles/38:31/11:53 pace

It was HOT out there!!!

Thursday 7/3- walk at work: 2.04 miles, squat challenge: 6x2

Friday 7/4- does gardening, building patio furniture and cleaning the house for my parents to come over count for anything?

Saturday 7/5- Squat Challenge- 5x2

Long Distance Training Run:
The long distance run did not happen this weekend. Since Patrick had the whole weekend off we spent our time working on the house. Lots of physical work building patio furniture and gardening. Not quite training, but that's okay. One weekend will not stop me and I will be back on track next week!
